The One Humanity Tour is a free, professional touring program for middle school students created exclusively for the School District of Palm Beach County. This program was designed to use storytelling to develop informed, thoughtful, and compassionate citizens, and includes an engaging discussion following the performance.

Touring September 9 – October 11, 2024

Swagger is a compelling story told in a “direct address” style by three characters: Jordan an 8th-grade student, Daniel, a police officer, and Leela, a small business owner.  Their lives intersect in a gripping moment captured on video, and the story is articulated by multiple perspectives. Swagger has now played to over 23,000 Palm Beach County students! Booking Details:

  • The school-day tour is for your full 6th grade.
  • The performance and post-show discussion are 55 minutes in total.
  • Morning or afternoon performance times are available.
  • Larger schools may wish to schedule two performances within a single day.
  • We use your space, and bring the play to you.
  • Booking dates and times are on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Technical requirements are simple: a clear playing space and two electrical outlets. We bring all of our own equipment. More details are provided after booking.
  • This tour is free.
  • We include a TEACHER RESOURCE GUIDE in the Marzano framework with extension activities.

The One Humanity Tour is an important multi-faceted program supporting Florida State Standards. Eric Coble’s thrilling play, Swagger, and the activities in the accompanying Teacher Resource Guide deliver the following topics safely and directly to your students:

  • Making responsible decisions.
  • Demonstrating empathy and awareness.
  • Considering multiple perspectives.
  • Demonstrating self-discipline.
  • Delaying self-gratification.
  • Demonstrating effective coping skills when confronting a problem.

Live to Tell by Eric Coble

Touring September 9 – October 11, 2024

Three vulnerable teens, Alison, Makayla, and Isabella, share their firsthand stories of being trafficked over three years. The play is told in "direct address" style, and the girls’ stories are revealed reflectively and not through explicit action.

  • This school-day tour comes to you, and serves your entire 7th grade.
  • There is no cost to the school or students.
  • The performance and post-show discussion are 55 minutes in total.
  • Morning or afternoon performance times are available.
  • We use your space, and bring the play to you.
  • Booking dates and times are on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Technical requirements are simple: a clear playing space and two electrical outlets. We bring all of our own equipment. More details are provided after booking.
