"Notte Italiana!" - A Cocktail Party to Benefit the PBDW Theatre Guild
Many of the Palm Beach’s veteran theatre patrons as well as new performing arts enthusiasts are expected to attend "Notte Italiana!" (Italian Night!) -- a celebratory cocktail party -- taking place on Wednesday, November 12th (5-7PM) to benefit The Theatre Guild of West Palm Beach’s only professional resident theater company, Palm Beach Dramaworks. Theatre Guild Chairperson Gayle B. Jacobs is thrilled to announce the evening will honor Charlotte Plotsky & Nada Tauber, and feature a festive two-hour cocktail party hosted by Café Sapori (205 Southern Boulevard) in West Palm Beach. Café Sapori owners Francesco Blanco and Fabrizio Giorgi have created one of the most sought after dinner destinations in the Palm Beaches and promise to provide their signature blend of northern, southern and central Italian cuisines to infuse the evening with just the right "Buon Appetito!" The restaurant’s villa ambiance will make a spectacular setting for an evening set for theatrical fascination highlighted by informal conversations with William Hayes, Dramaworks’ Producing Artistic Director, Sue Ellen Beryl, the company’s Managing Director and Nanique Gheridian the company’s manager. Proceeds from the benefit will support Palm Beach Dramaworks. Tickets are $150 & $75 and are tax deductible as provided by law. Café Sapori will further support Palm Beach Dramaworks by contributing 50% of all Guild member dinner checks for those who choose to remain for dinner following the event.
