It's been 16 long years since Dancing At Lughnasa and Remembrance at The Asolo Theatre in Sarasota, but it's great to be back in Florida. Mr. Lane has appeared on Broadway in A Touch Of The Poet and Molly Sweeney, and Off-Broadway in The Colleen Bawn (Drama Desk Award nomination), Philadelphia Here I Come, A Child's Christmas In Wales, Seconds Out, Poor Beast In The Rain, Liverpool Fantasy, How Love Is Spelt, Alvin Epstein's King Lear among others. His regional credits include: Molly Sweeney (The Mark Taper, LA. Drama-Logue Award winner, Best Actor). Peer Gynt (The Guthrie Theatre) Hot 'n' Throbbing (Arena Stage DC) Dido, Queen of Carthage (ART, Harvard and Yale Rep.) Long Day's Journey Into Night (Capital Rep), Hedda Gabler (Portland Stage), The Caretaker (Gloucester Stage), and The Weir (Merrimac Rep). Colin has appeared often at the historic Ivoryton Playhouse most recently as Starbuck in The Rainmaker. He is a Connecticut Critics Circle nominee for The Beauty Queen of Leenane (Pato) and arrives here fresh from two acclaimed productions: Faith Healer (Berkshire Theatre Festival) and After Luke / When I was God (Irish Rep).
